For context, I'm in Canada but responses from the USA and elsewhere are also interesting.

I'm not even talking about the fact that they can get fat. I'm talking about the risk of developing diabetes or high cholesterol.

2021.12.05 14:13 adrian87camaro AA Changed My Flight Itinerary to an Impossible Time and I Don't Understand My Options

My gf and I are traveling to San Juan in Feb 2022. Our flights are FAT-->DFW-->SJU. AA changed our departure times so that our connecting flight DFW-->SJU leaves while we are still in the air from FAT-->DFW. It would be physically impossible to catch our connecting flight. We called customer service and they explained that eventually the flight would be automatically rebooked, but it might a day later or a day earlier from the original time we booked. A day earlier and we can't get the time off of work and a day later we miss the wedding we're travelling to. Another option they gave us is a different flight, but we would have to pay the difference. The last option they gave us was to cancel everything and rebook. Is this par for the course? I tried to look up AA's schedule change policy, but couldn't find something that matched my exact situation.

Looking to sell a basically brand new hill people gear junction pack in manatee. I think I used it less than 5 times.
Wanted to try it out for a "grey man" pack but ended up going in a different direction.
Asking $130 shipped.

2021.12.05 14:13 Classic_dave1616 Folks who were around in the early 90’s….. do you realize how lucky you are or does it not even phase you?

I was born in 97 but I have the soul of someone who was born in the 50’s… I love older music especially early 90’s grunge scene. I live in Oregon and just want to know if any of y’all who were around to see Nirvana, Pearl Jam, AIC, Soundgarden, etc. know just how lucky you are. As a 24 year old man I’ve always loved music, grew up in a musically talented family and now I’m obsessed with it. I do however despise pretty much any new music that comes out because most of it is just corporate garbage… wife and I just watched Nirvana live and the paramount in 92 and Pearl Jam twenty documentary and we’re wishing the whole time that we had a time machine to go back and see these legends live and in Their prime. For those of you who have…. What was it like??? Dying to know!

2021.12.05 14:13 meanjeepguy I feel slightly unsettled.

I am approaching one year. I am in love with my recovery "self". But I am developing a small fear. I fear something is going to shake my sobriety. I feel insecure about this feeling. Quite frankly I would like for this feeling to settle. Thoughts?

2021.12.05 14:13 theoriginalredapple Artist shares 6 tabletop RPG background music mixes in their page: check it out!

Follow his page for access to the playlists.
Each one is in the 3-4 hour range and they are:
Dungeon Crawling: dark ambiences for setting the mood for exploring labyrinths/caves/catacombs or dark forests etc.;
Crossing The Ocean: for pirate-themed adventures, or any campaign heavy on nautical/river combat;
In The Village: when the group reaches a town, tavern or trading outpost, for generally pacific encounters with villagers and townspeople;
Ruins and Temples: to set the appropriate mood when in sacred places, sacerdotal houses, monuments or exploring sacred ruins, magical buildings or dealing with entities from other planes;
Heroic Fight: for epic battles against powerful dragons, mages, demons or armies, or situations that require heroism from the PCs;
Distant Places: for travels far away from the group’s places of origin, be it distant kingdoms or towns or even other planes.
PS: the playlists are in the bottom of the artist page if you use Spotify mobile.
P.P.S.: I’m not affiliated with the artist, but I use the playlists regularly.

2021.12.05 14:13 Lwmons Designing a Relic: Excalibur's Sheathe.

I'm planning on making Excalibur a big part of my current campaign. The weapon will have been reforged into a rifle, and the Knights of the Round Table will have been reformed as the Knights of the Chambered Round.
No clue how this will work with Deadlands Dark Ages, but that's a question for another time.
The weapon is a Relic in the Weird West Companion, but anyone familiar with the legend knows that the sheathe has powers of it's own. I figure if the sword is now a rifle, it's only appropriate that the sheathe becomes a boot.
The question is, what powers should it have? Per legend, the scabbard prevent wounds from bleeding, so you'd never bleed to death during a battle. I'm not sure how that might translate to The Weird West.
